Liberals commit to Marion Basketball Stadium

SABC & Basketball SA welcomes today’s announcement, that should they win the upcoming state election, Steven Marshall and the Liberal Party have committed $3,000,000 towards building a four to six court stadium at Marion as part of the redevelopment of the Marion Sports and Community Club.more

Marion Sports Club Redevelopment

The City of Marion is master planning a spread of sport and community hubs across the city that will cater for the community’s needs for generations to come. One of the sites is the Marion Sports and Community Club.
Three draft options have been developed to provide a range of concepts ideas for discussion with the community and stakeholders for the purpose of identifying the preferred options and outcomes.
It is expected the final master plan is unlikely to be one of the 3 draft options in its current form but more likely to be a combination of the preferred ideas from each design as well as new ideas that will be identified through the consultation processes.more
