When nominating for a competition you are agreeing to abide by our Zero Tolerance Rules.

Gold Coast Basketball hold week night competitions at the new Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre. There is a diverse range of divisions across the week available to allow accessible basketball opportunities to the whole of the Gold Coast no matter the skill level.

Seasons run throughout the year with late team nominations accepted if there is room with in the current competition and at differing stages of the season.

Divisions range from Premier League Men and Women to Mixed Social divisions.

To register your team or to place your name on the individual player waiting list contact Julie Brown on admin@gccrba.com.au

2018 – Commonwealth Games

GC Basketball will be faced with unprecedented loss of venue availabilities as of the 1st February 2018.

Our main venue – GC Sports & Leisure Centre plus the Coomera Sports Centre will be handed over to the organisers of the Commonwealth Games, GOLDOC until the end of May early June – this is a worst case scenario, we may be able to start back earlier, it will depend on when the stadium is handed back to council.

We ask for your understanding during these months as competitions will be limited to court availability.

2018 Autumn Senior Basketball Season

The 2018 Autumn Season will begin on February 5th and run through to the end of May.

During the Autumn Season Gold Coast Basketball will be majorly affected by the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games with The Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre becoming unavailable to all sporting groups as of January 22nd 2018 until June 2018. Whilst this is an amazing time for the Gold Coast and we have we have gained some amazing new sports centres, it does come with some disruptions to local sporting associations for the first 6 months of 2018.

All teams must nominate for the new season. Any team nominations that are not on the new Team Nomination form will not be included as some competition nights have changed because of venue availability.

Contact Julie at admin@gccrba.com.au for a team nomination form.

Team Nominations close January 12th.

At this time the competition will run out of 3 stadiums over 3 nights only.

ALL COMPETITIONS FOR THIS SEASON ARE NOW FULL.

NEW SEASON WILL BEGIN IN JUNE 2018.

Senior Winter Season begins the week of 11th June 2018

We will return back to our home courts at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre from June 2018.

Nomination forms will be sent out to all 2017 Summer League Senior Teams and 2018 Autumn Senior Teams in early May 2018.

All teams must nominate to be eligible for selection in the Winter league.

Nominations close Friday 25th May 2018

Confirmation emails will be sent out on Friday 1st June confirming your spot in the league.

Team Nomination fees must be paid by Friday 8th June 2018

We look forward to all our competitions being under one roof again.

We do have a couple of disruptions this season but will keep you all informed of dates that are unavailable for games.

Unfortunately this is a multi sports venue and we do have to share it with other sports and major events.

GCB try our best to book as many dates as possible and look for alternate venues when the GCSLC is unavailable but sometimes it is just not possible to run competitions 4 days a week 52 weeks of the year.

We thank you for your understanding when venues are U/A
