Aussie Hoops coaches wanted !!
Brisbane Basketball Inc. is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and energetic persons to fill the role of coach within the BBI Aussie Hoops program.
The BBI Aussie Hoops program is an introctory program designed as the entry point for new players aged between 4 and 11 years. Aussie Hoops is run by Brisbane Basketball Inc and is conducted outside of school hours at primary schools, club courts and NAB Stadium.
The role of the Aussie Hoops coach is to present the BBI Aussie Hoops program to participants in a fun, safe and engaging manner. This is an important job as it is often a child's first experience with the sport of basketball. Quality coaching and organised sessions are vital to a child's involvement, ensuring that they have fun and want to return.
These positions are ideal for uni students, players who want to get in to coaching, or those who want to make some extra money on the side.
All coaches must have or are wiling to get a working with children blue card, own transport, and be available for training in mid-late January. The pay scale is designed to increase for those who show a particular knack for coaching and those who are willing to undertake further training
