More Queensland North success!

The Queensland North U17 Emerging team were successful over the long weekend in the Nunawading Spectres Tournament, taking out the Gold Medalin the U18A competition.

The team started the tournament off slowly, but found form quickly to sneak into the semi finals with wins over Sandringham and Norths (Sydney).  They then moved on to beat the host team and number 1 seed, Nunawading, in the Semi Final and then again beating Norths (Sydney) in the Grand Final 44-37.

The team consisted of Townsville players Jarrad Figg, Hamish McDonald, Ethan Williams, Jariya Blackman-Bobbert, Matthew Wight and Jordan Kennett.  The team was coached by David Vanderjagt.

Townsville referee Jordan Napper was also at the tournament officiating.
