In recognition of the need for player transition from U16's to Youth Grade, FSC commenced an Under 18 competition with teams entered from both Junior and Mens Clubs. This initiative was co-sponsored from the Men's and Junior Councils who continue to work together in developing this competition.

In its initial year, eleven teams entered with two senior clubs participating and junior clubs having links with senior clubs.

In 2015, the competition has grown to 16 teams with 6 junior clubs and 10 senior clubs.

In 2016, the competition has 17 teams forming two divisions
