Introduced to the sport through his children and has never left. Managed and fundraised as required and always will to do what ever is required. Probably most well known for his quiet nature and quick wit. Lindsay Burrell
The quiet achiever. His achievements in how he has guided those he comes into contact with to greater heights is surpassed by none. He was the back bone behind one of the sports premier junior clubs and he still does so much for the juniors at Southern Districts.
Ian Moose Gillard
Dave has been with the Association since its original concept. He has played, coached, managed and for a period of time was the President of the Association. The Association owes him an apology that this did not happen many years ago. I guess every time we thought about it he had moved on. Even this time we had to do a huge search just to locate him. Dave Smith
A true local club that supports the complete community. Without the support of the Carina Leagues there would be no SEABL teams. I ask that the Carina Leagues Club convey to their Board and membership our utmost appreciation. Carina Leagues Club
A person who has done it all. Coached , managed, administrator and now a sponsor. Never asked for anything other then we make sure we do it right. Major person behind Wheelies in Queensland for many years. Only 5th person to receive both awards. Barry Barker
Seems to have been here forever. Played as junior and got involved in managing which saw him become part of the Brisbane Bullets premiership team. Always at stadium, is a living legend around the Spartans community regularly mingling and involved with the juniors and known as number one music man in the Australian Basketball League. Simply known nationwide as Big Joe.
