What is Aussie Hoops?

Vicinity Centres Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official introductory program, providing a fun and inclusive Basketball experience for 5-10 year olds that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game. In addition to promoting healthy and active lifestyles, the program serves as a platform for social development and inclusion - fostering stronger and more vibrant communities and individuals. Participants are participating in activities and games that are relevant to their physical and mental capabilities, which will increase in competitiveness until participants are ready to transition into local club competitions.

Every new player receives a merchandise pack that is included in the registration cost. This pack consists of a bag, reversible singlet and size 5 basketball.

Term 2 Programs:

There is a variety of sessions available during Term 2 2018 across different venues. Below are the details:

Tingalpa State School

• When: Tuesday afternoon 3-4pm (first session is Tuesday the 24^th April)
• Sessions: 8
• Cost: New player $90 (this includes merchandise pack); returning players $60.

Belmont State School

• When: Wednesday afternoon 3:30pm -4:30pm (first session is Wednesday the 2^nd May
• Sessions: 8
• Cost: New player $90 (this includes merchandise pack); returning players $60.

Rowland Cowan Stadium

• When: Saturday morning 8am – 9am (first session Saturday 28^th April)
• Sessions: 9
• Cost: New player $90 (this includes merchandise pack); returning players $60.
