8 December: Holiday Clinics with Ricky and KB
Holidays are a great time to work on your games to get the edge up on your competitors, push your case for a selection in a higher division and make sure you maintain your spot in your team.
In January on 16th to 17th Lions players have the opportunity to do in excess 10 hours of work on their shooting technique with Ricky Simpson and Kevin Brooks.
For $60 it represents amazing value to work with Ricky and Kevin and the time you will invest into your games over the 2 days is the equivalent to over 6 regular Lions training sessions.
These clinics are for Lions' players only and will give our players a great step over their competitors and also be lots of fun as you get to meet and hang out with your club mates, and Ricky and KB.
Kevin Brooks
• Played NBA with Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks
• One of the best players to play in NBL history
• Won an NBL title with the Adelaide 36ers in 1998 and 1999 and won MVP of the '98 Grand Final series
• NBL Assistant Coach with Wollongong Hawks
• ABL Head Coach with Woodville Warriors in 2005, winning a title
Ricky Simpson:
• Played basketball at NBL, US Collegiate and ABL level
• Currently Courts Manager of STARplex and NRSA Head Coach
• Former U18 Div 1 Coach with Central Districts Lions
• Former ABL Coach with Woodville Warriors and Central Districts Lions, winning an ABL title in 2000 and ABL Coach of the year that year
