Country athletes shine at U20 National Championships
At the recent U20 National Championships, former country athletes were among the top performers.
The South Australian women's team had Chelsea Brook (avg 9 pts, 6.4 reb), Hannah Stewart (shooting at 73% in limited court time playing a support role) and Sarah Elsworthy (avg 11 pts, 5.1 reb and 2.2 stl) from our 2015 U18 silver medal winning team and they backed that up with another silver this year.
Brad Rathjen (avg 7.6 pts, 2.5 reb, 1.5 stl) was the sole representative in the men's team, taking home a bronze medal, rounding out a solid tournament for the South Australians.
