In a year where there were no individual standouts on the court our High Performance staff sought to separate our High Perfamance Athletes of the year through their off court actions.

Daniel Stock (Great Southern) and Georgia Thomson (Yorke Valley) were awarded the Bert Bargeus Medal for 2016 through their leadership and shining example to others on how to overcome adversity and still perform at the highest levels.

Daniel & Georgia have both demonstrated tremendous leadership to other atlhetes in our program and have done SA Country, their home associations, their families and of course themselves proud. Congratulations to them both.
