Highlube RollerHawks 6 from 6

The Shellharbour based regional team, the HighLube Roller Hawks still remain undefeated and top of the NWBL Ladder.  The weekends' two convincing wins over the Brisbane Spinning Bullets (100-52 and then 102-53) have the Roller Hawks now 6 from 6 outings, undefeated at home and away.

Again, Tristan Knowles, playing his best season ever in the NWBL came away with a 35 and then 37 points haul and a triple double with assists and rebounds in both of the games.  Brett Stibners, also with his best NWBL season to date, recorded a triple double in the Saturday game (27pts,15 boards,10 assists) and 2 assists off a triple double in the second game.

Jesus Martin (13pts) and Reo Lewis (12pts) helped with a double points haul in support in Game 1 and in Game 2 again Jesus (19pts) and Shawn Russel (17pts) were the required backup. Last year’s rookie Reo Lewis is certainly making a bigger mark this year and notched up the great statistic over the weekend of scoring the 100th point in both games.

The HighLubers now have a month’s break away from their beloved home court and go on the road to play the Razorbacks on the 12th July in Bankstown and then their Melbourne Road Trip to Dandenong on the 19th-20th July.
