Lacrosse WA Announces East Fremantle Lacrosse Club
Lacrosse WA today officially announced that this year’s 2014 Lacrosse WA Final Series will be hosted by East Fremantle Lacrosse Club at their riverside location on Preston Rd, East Fremantle. The Club as already held a series of planning meetings and is in the process of finalising its Finals Sub-Committee to roll out what they hope is the best finals campaign in Lacrosse WA history.
Club President, David Miller is excited about the plans and ideas his committee has already brainstormed. “The committee have a clear focus on what they want to achieve with the final series this year. Their primary concern is the safety of players, spectators and volunteers so there will be plenty of attention paid to that aspect. We want the Club to provide a framework or standard for future final series by delivering a well communicated and well organised event with some extra Wow-factors thrown in. We also want to be innovative and bring to lacrosse some elements that are truly unique”.
As part of their innovation, East Fremantle have designed a Final Series logo and a banner image to complement their social media plan for the finals. “We want to begin the hype for the finals now whilst at the same time being the communication forum for everything finals.” Miller said.
The Club will also launch its new 2014 LWA Final Series Facebook page, Twitter Account, You Tube Channel, Team App and email address shortly. Lacrosse WA is playing a major role in the co-branding of the final series. Lacrosse WA’s logo will feature on most of the finals social media communications, merchandise and print and will also provide links on Lacrosse WA’s own social media pages. Lacrosse WA has also financially contributed to the design and marketing of East Fremantle Lacrosse Club’s event and media plan.
“Lacrosse WA has been really supportive of our media plan and vision for the final series. We see LWA being a great partner to East Fremantle Lacrosse Club in the lead up and during the final series. Ultimately we see the final series as a celebration of lacrosse in Western Australia – this event is not just about our club –but about how our club loves this great game” Miller said.
Lacrosse WA encourages everyone to discover the new 2014 LWA Finals Series Facebook page, “Like” and get caught up in this year final series for 2014.
