Camp Full!!
A top coaching team will take children through a full week of basketball based fun. Participants will learn and develop their skills with the opportunity to play plenty of games and take part in fun competitions. All campers receive a t-shirt and attendance certificate. There are also special awards given out at the end of camp and daily prizes.
The camp is open to children of all basketball abilities aged 8-18yrs and the programme of activity is based around the national coaching standard: Basketball New Zealand Kiwi Hoops. All of our coaching team are either accredited Kiwi Hoops coaches or are working towards accreditation.
Please note registration is for whole week - we do not take part-week bookings. 8yrs and over attend for full days. 5-7 year olds enter the Bounce League which runs for half days. Times are on the leaflet below.
To register please make payment and email a completed registration form to admin@basketballhawkesbay.co.nz by 4pm on 27th of September 2017. Pre-camp registration and payment will close at this point.
Places are limited: If the camp reaches capacity before 27th of September then registration will close and a notice will be posted on the website. If the camp is not at capacity by the close off on 27th of September, then we may be able to take limited registrations on the first morning of camp.
To be fair to everyone we operate a first in first served policy and cannot hold places based on email or phone requests - the only way to secure a place is to send in a completed registration form and make payment. We will acknowledge all registrations by email - if you don't hear from us within a couple of days of sending your form in, please call the office. Please do not make payment without sending in the registration form - payment alone will not secure a place.
Two versions of the registration form are available below - PDF and WORD. The PDF version has fields that can be filled in on the computer but it must be printed out, then scanned and returned. You cannot save information onto the form. The WORD version is best printed-off, completed by hand and then scanned/emailed back.
The standard camp fee for 8yrs and over is $195. A $50 per child deposit is required for all bookings (including OSCAR customers). There are discounts for family bookings and Community Service Card holders for regular camp (full days). There are no discounts for Bounce League (half days). Our preferred method of payment is by internet banking into our account: 12 3144 0177861 01
Payment can also be made by cash or cheque at our office (96A Nuffield Avenue). There is normally someone at the office Mon-Fri, 9am to 4pm but please call us on 833 6215 first. We do not have EFTPOS.
