Congratulations to Bryce Murdoch on achieving the 150 club game milestone for the Logan Cobras JAFC.
Bryce started with the Cobras as an under 9âs in 2000 and initially stood out with his shock of blonde hair but it wasnât long before it was his football skills shone through. As he progressed through the age groups Bryce became a consistently good player and has been a key member of every team he has played in. Bryce played his 100th game in 2005 and the following season he was a dominant midfielder in the under 14âs premiership winning team.
Bryce is relatively quiet person but always provides a great example for his teammates through his actions on the football field due to his vigorous attack on the ball, or the opposition player unlucky enough to have it.
Bryce has also demonstrated a willingness to assist the Cobras in other ways and has developed into a reliable and efficient Auskick rules umpire.
Well done Bryce. A valuable player and member of the Cobras.
Congratulations to David Gould on reaching the 100 club game milestone for the Logan Cobras JAFC.
David first played with the Cobras in the 2000 season as an under 8 before heading off to play soccer for a couple of seasons. He came back to the club for another go in 2003, went back to soccer in 2004, then in 2005 he returned (along with twin brother Matthew) to play for the Cobras and both have played every season since.
David plays his football with a high level of energy and competitiveness and was a key member of the under 12âs premiership team in 2005 and the under 14âs premiership team in 2006. Despite being an eligible under 14 player in 2007 David chose to play above his age group with the under 16âs and acquitted himself very well in more senior company. This season David is part of a formidable midfield combination in the under 16âs Logan Power team.
Great work David. We look forward to many more games from you in the Cobras colours.
