South Adelaide Panthers 98 (T. McKenzie 22, S. Pilkington 21, K. Carter 19)

A 32 point third quarter set this win up for the Lions, with Justin Clayton and Mark Egel dominant on the boards. Tom McKenzie's 22 points included 10 for 11 from the foul line, and Pilkington had 13 boards, but Agel Machar's ejection limited the impact of Centrals' front court.

Forestville Eagles 96 (K. Oakley 19, P. Hoban 13, M. Sutton 12)
Eastern Mavericks 81 (J. Watson 21, B. Bungey 17, S. Breheny 12)

5 points in the opening 4 minutes from rookie Eagle Trent Fildes helped set up a 15 point lead for Forestville at three quarter time. Eastern reduce the least to 10 at the half but some perimeter shooting from Kane Oakely, who had attracted double and triple teams when playing inside, Extended the lead beyond 20. For Eastern, Brad Bungey battled hard for his 14 rebounds.

Norwood Flames 112 (K. Krause 22, A. Webber 21, D. Thompson 18)
Sturt Sabres 88 (M. Ng 21, D. Ng 15, J. Dodman 12)

Norwood raced to a 13 point lead against a younger Sturt lineup, and a 33-13 third quarter set up the win. The Flames tall front court of Cooper, Krause and Thompson made things difficult for Jordan Dodman, and Norwood outrebounded Sturt by 12. Keith Krause's 22 included 7 three pointers and Todd Matthews had 11 assists. For Sturt, Marcus Ng made the most of his opportunities with 21 points. 

West Adelaide Bearcats 102 (K. Davis 22, A. Spadavecchia 20, C. Molitor 16)
North Adelaide Rockets 89 (N. Hambour 17, L. Burdon 16, D. Quigley 15)

Sophomore Spadavecchia was cooking early and the absence of Ben Groves hurt the Rockets. The game see-sawed each quarter, but West turned a 2 point ÃfÂffffÂfffÂffÂ,Ã,¾ time lead into a 13 point victory. Kris Davis had 7 boards to go with has 22 points and Chris Molitor had an impressive 17 rebounds. Dallas Quigley went 3 for 3 from the three point line, but North's 38% field goal percentage contributed to the loss in the game of the round.

Southern Tigers 109 (B. Hodges 25, B. Gerlach 25, R. Franceschinis 19)
Woodville Warriors 94 (C. Wilson 23, L. Mapunda 19, G. Birmingham 14)

This one was tight all the way, with the margin at each of the breaks not exceeding 2 points. Southern stormed away in the last quarter, and despite giving up 19 offensive rebounds to the athletic Warriors, the Tigers were able to do just enough to get the win at the Cage. Hodges had 7 rebounds and shot 11 of 12 from the foul line, while Matthew Clarke had 6 assists. The Warriors were lead by hard-working captain Cameron Wilson, who had 8 rebounds to go with his 23 points.
