Selection trials will be held at Glenmore State School, North Rockhampton on Wednesday 06 March 2013 from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm. If necessary due to numbers, there will be a second day on Wednesday 13 March at the same times also at Glenmore SS. Training days for players selected are set out below. Access to the school oval is from McLaughlin Street.


Children who are 12 years old this year (born in 2001) or younger (11 years born 2002 or 10 years old born 2003) are able to try out.


The Rockhampton District team will compete at the Capricornia Regional Trials inGladstone on Monday 22 April. The team will assemble at the venue which is to be advised. A Capricornia regional team will be selected from the trials to compete at the State Championships at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast from 8 – 12 June 2013. The levy for Maroochydore is expected to be around $500.


Training for players in the Rockhampton District squad will be at Glenmore State School from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. on the following days:

Malcolm McArthur, a Level 1 accredited coach will be in charge of the Rockhampton District team. A levy will be required from each player in the District team. This will be determined once costs are known.A Rockhampton District Primary Schools representative shirt is available at an additional cost of $25
