ALA is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Morley as Head Coach of the U23 Australian Men’s Team 2015.
The U23 Australian Men’s Team will compete at the 2015 ASPAC Championship, to be held in Bangkok Thailand, Saturday 4 – Saturday 11 July.
Glenn has an extensive background coaching club teams for many years as well as 3 years at Mercer Island High School, Seattle USA. More recently, Glenn has coached the Bayswater State League Men’s Team for 6 years, winning the past three consecutive Premierships and the 2013 Australian Club Championship. He also coached the 2014 WA U18 Boy’s Team, winning the 2014 National Championship.
As a player, Glenn achieved a Bronze Medal with Australia at the 2010 Men’s World Championship, Manchester England. He also represented WA on 10 occasions between 2001 – 2014 (captain 2009 & 2012-2014), winning the National Championship in 2006 & 2013 and was selected in the All-Stars on three occasions.
Glenn brings with him a depth of knowledge and experience as both a coach and player, to pass on to our aspiring U23 Australian players.
Glenn is also a Presenter of the ALA Club Coach Course and has a Bachelor in Physical and Health Education.
