ALBION SEEK TRAINERS 

Albion Football Club are currently seeking Sports Trainers to join their team for the upcoming 2018 Western Region Football League season running from March to September.

We are currently looking for trainers for the following teams:

• Seniors – required; 1 training night (negotiable) and game day

• Reserves - required; 1 training night (negotiable) and game day

• Under 18 girls - required game day (Sunday’s from from 1pm)

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; sports taping, massage, running water and first aid.

Applicants must posses a current first aid accreditation and/or level 1 sports trainer accreditation.

Previous experience is not essential as training will provided but previous experience is highly regarded.

Successful applications will be paid an hourly rate which will be discussed.

The North Footscray Football Club will be hosting a Junior Skills and Fitness Session on February 12 at Hansen Reserve at 5pm. 

Players aged between 12 and 17 are encouraged to attend the session.

The East Sunbury Football Club (EDFL Division 2) are seeking practice matches for Saturday, March 17 for their Seniors, Reserves and Under-19 teams.

East Sunbury’s ground is unavailable due to cricket finals, so matches will need to be played away. The club is looking to play sides of a Division 2/3 standard.

CSFC is affiliated with the Western Region Football League and in its short history has developed a reputation as a high performing organisation.
Based in the growth corridor west of Melbourne, we have a strong junior program that has gone from strength to strength fielding teams in all age 
groups of the WRFL including a healthy Auskick program.

The senior football team, coming off our inaugural Senior Div 2 premiership in 2016, and the subsequent promotion to Division 1, is now embarking on our new challenge, in the top tier of the WRFL.

FLEMINGTON SEEK JUNIOR COACHES IN 2018

The Flemington Junior Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for coaching positions across multiple age-groups for the 2018 season, including our new under 17 Colts team. The creation of our new under 17 colts team will be exciting for our football club. This will provide a pathway to UHS VU FC affiliated with the VAFA.

Flemington Junior FC is experiencing considerable growth year on year with a 160% growth in numbers between 2015 and 2017 to 252 in player registrations.

In 2018 FJFC will field 13 teams in all age categories. Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 x 2 teams, Under 11 x 2 teams, Under 12 Girls (Affiliated with Melbourne University Women’s Football), Under 12 Boys, Under 13 Boy, Under 14 Boys, Under 15 Boys, Under 15 Girls (Affiliated with Melbourne University Women’s Football) and the new Colts Under 17 Boys Team.

1 x Football Director of Coaching

Applicants will also need to demonstrate:

  • A strong commitment to grow, develop. mentor and teach players of all abilities
  • A positive and welcoming attitude
  • Strong communication skills on and off the field
  • Commitment to attend training sessions and matches
  • Ability to operate as part of a team
  • Level 1 Coaching Course certification or a willingness to complete the course
  • Working with Children certification

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all players and coaching staff adhere to a code of conduct
  • Develop a game plan for the 2018 season to suit playing resources

  • Provide game day coaching expertise and leadership

LAVERTON MAGPIES ON THE HUNT FOR PLAYERS

The Laverton Football Club is seeking players for the upcoming 2017 football season. Playing in Division 3 of the Western Region Football League, the club offers a great environment for all players.

Training is held from 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays at the club’s home ground, Cnr Merton & Hall Street Altona Meadows.

Applicants must hold appropriate qualifications and be available for two games on Saturdays from 11am-5:00pm.

The Western Saints, playing in the Vic Metro Supers competition, is on the hunt for players this season.

The competition is for players aged 35 and over, with games played each fortnight on a Sunday.

The club has both a senior and reserves team and is based in St Albans.

WEST FOOTSCRAY SEEK TRAINER

The West Footscray Football Club is seeking one Sports Trainer to join their Medical Team for the 2017 home and away season, for Seniors and Reserves.

To be considered for this position, you must have a basic Sports First Aid qualification, preferably qualified at a Level 1 Trainer’s Course or willing to obtain, have a love for Australian Rules Football, be committed as well as reliable.

Applicants must be available to be rostered on Tuesday and Thursday nights, as well as being available for two games on Saturdays, 11am-5:00pm.

Successful applicants will be provided remuneration for their time.

We are looking for someone who wants to join our WRFL Radio team as our stats person.

Obviously a knowledge of what an inside 50 is would be helpful.

We are looking for a team player, someone who is available every Saturday from 1 till 6pm. Commitment is essential.

You will be part of the on air team  so good verbal skills are needed. This is an opportunity to follow your footy passion and who knows where that might lead.
