Board

President - Meredith Angwin

Meredith is a Partner with Ernst & Young Advisory Consulting based in Melbourne. She has enjoyed a 25+ year career in management consulting here and in Asia specialising in program management and business technology implementation.

Meredith is a passionate football person and has been a member of the Western Bulldogs Football club for longer than she cares to say. Her earliest memories are of going to games at the Whitten Oval cheering for the Dogs in fair and foul weather. She continues to go to games most weeks now and is pleased that this is in the (relative) comfort of Etihad Stadium.  Meredith's association with the WRFL stems from the involvement of both of her parents – Ron and Thelma Angwin. Ron (dec.) was President for 11 years (1981-1991) and her mother Thelma was Treasurer for 10 years (1982-1991).

Vice President - Paul Robinson

A director of an engineering and mechanical testing company, Paul is no stranger to the league, having been involved in the WRFL Junior Board and Rules Committee for the past three years. Initially becoming involved with the league through his son’s involvement with the Altona Juniors Football Club in 1996, Paul was elected President of the club, only recently retiring from the role at the end of the 2013 season.

A passionate North Melbourne supporter, Paul is keen to play a fulfilling role in his new position on the board, planning on improving and growing the league for future generations.

After 17 years at Origin, Dominic joined Click Energy Group as CEO in late April 2013.

In just a short three year timeframe Dominic has taken the business from 37,000 accounts to 125,000, increasing annual revenue from $50m to $185m and margin from $13m to $50m.  These results have been achieved through a unique channel marketing strategy utilising digital tools to deliver low cost acquisitions and best in class cost to serve.
