The Fiji Men and Women's teams have qualified for the 2017 Hockey World League Round 2 following the Round 1 competition hosted in Suva by the Fiji Hockey Federation in August 2016.
The Fiji Women's team had qualified to play in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in January 2017 but the team did not confirm its participation and will focus instead on the Oceania Cup in Sydney in October 2017. The Oceania Cup is the final qualifying tournament for the 2017 Hockey World Cup.
Hockey World League Rd 2 MEN
3 pools of 8 teams will take part in Round 2 competitions in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Belfast Northern Ireland and Tacarigua in the Trinidad & Tobago Islands.
The top two teams from these 3 pools and top two ranked third place getters go on to play in the semifinals for the 2017 Hockey World Cup which will be played in London from June 15 - 25th and Johannesburg from July 9 - 23rd.
