About Basketball Fiji

Basketball Fiji’s mission is to provide programs and competitions to develop the profile of basketball across the Fiji Islands and build the number of players, coaches referees, administrators and sponsors within the basketball community.

Basketball Fiji proudly sends National Women's and Men's teams to play international basketball and represent Fiji on the world stage.

We believe in working with basketballers early, developing their skills and their love for the game. We run various basketball programs for various age and skill levels throughout Fiji. Check out our program page to find out more.

At Basketball Fiji we are also incredibly community minded, we like to use sport to promote health and well-being while also using it to reach those that might need it most.

We engage with health departments, the education sector, unemployed youth and women’s groups to build a stronger understanding of community problems and to use basketball to address those issues.

We reach out to students through our school programs and teach them the importance of being active and eating well through basketball.

Our Federation also provides competition opportunities at the grass roots, representative and international level for players, coaches referees and administrators.

If you think you would like to be a part of Basketball Fiji, head over to our contact page and reach out, we'd love to hear from you.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
