All the planning is now complete and we eagerly look forward to welcoming the 46 school teams for the third edition of Touch Singapore (TSG) Pan Pacific All Schools 2018. We have teams coming from Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and of course Singapore making it a truly international all schools tournament.
Can I please remind all coaches to familiarize yourselves with the local rules listed below, particularly the 3 points awarded for the very first touchdown and 2 points for each subsequent touchdown. This scoring system is in place so that we do not end up with a drawn result during the pool games. The only time that this could possibly occur is if we have zero touchdowns in the match (in which case we will proceed with a drop off to determine a result).
Also please ensure that your teams are aware of the change of ends after each touchdown so that there is no unfair advantage gained by either team.
It is a very tight schedule so we will be starting games on the clock, please be ready at your designated field 5 minutes prior to your tap off time.
SATURDAY games start from 8:30am and SUNDAY games start from 8:00am.
TOURNAMENT PLAYER ELIGIBILTY
1. Only matriculated students from the participating school are eligible to participate in the Pan Pacific All Schools Championships.
2. Students are reminded to bring along their matriculation cards or any form of identification which certifies their eligibility to play for their school.

LOCAL TOURNAMENT RULES
- Competition will be six a side (you can have up to 14 players in any one game)
- All teams MUST be in matching uniform with clearly marked playing numbers for identification
- Games will be played under the FIT 4th edition rule book. A copy can be found using this link: https://www.internationaltouch.org/what-is-touch/the-rules/rules-of-the-game/
- Game duration for ALL age groups will be 20 minutes straight.
- Teams change ends after each touchdown
- The first touchdown in each match on both days except for the GRAND FINALS is worth 3 points; the second touchdown and each subsequent touchdown are worth two points. Touchdowns in GRANDFINALS are worth 1 point. This scoring system is to avoid any drawn results during the pool rounds (so that we can obtain seeding for the finals) and semifinals. Draws in GRAND FINALS will be decided by the drop off system.
- ALL teams MUST be at their designated pitch 5 minutes before the game is due to commence. It is an extremely tight schedule so please be on time.
- Matches will START and END on the central siren. At the discretion of the referee, teams will be deducted 1 touchdown for every two minutes that they are late and after six minutes the match will be forfeited.
- A point system will operate for the league table with 3 points for a win; 2 points for a draw; 1 point for a loss; and 0 points for a forfeit.
