Racing Captain Brian Lawrie announcing new season races soon .....

TSASA Racing

A variety of races are held throughout the year. They are intended to be a challenge and fun, but safety comes first.

Most races are held on weekends and are one day events, however the club usually extends them to include the whole weekend so there is plenty of opportunity to socialise and ample time to rig up and prepare.

Annual races include:

Women's Classic October long weekend sponsored by Truck and Car Brakes

Rosebowl Race November sponsored by Bridgestone Tyre Centre Croydon Park

Grecian Cup April sponsored by Electric Bug

Handicaps are given on the basis of the make, model, class of boat and previous performances.

The TSASA burgee must be flying for you to be awarded a place in any of our races.  See Merchandise page.

More racing events are arranged by other organisations and individuals and although not endorsed as TSASA events, are attended by many of our members. At the request of outside clubs they are listed on our calendar but in a separate section and include the Milang to Goolwa Race and the Port Vincent Classic (Cruising Yacht Club).

Sponsors for the races are important and give generous discounts so don't forget to mention you are a TSASA Member!!!
