Yachting NSW is one of 8 State Associations who are Members of Australian Sailing. Yachting NSW pay an annual affiliation fee to Australian Sailing.
Australian Sailing is the National Sporting Organisation for sailing, and peak body for recreational boating at Clubs, in Australia. Australian Sailing are affiliated to the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).
In NSW, there are 115 affiliated clubs throughout the state who are Members of Yachting NSW. Clubs pay an annual affiliation fee to Yachting NSW.
As an individual, generally, you will be a member at your local club. Your Australian Sailing registration is part of your club membership. This means that you pay a fee determined by your club, and your club are then responsible for your registration in the national membership database which validates your Australian Sailing membership, and in turn your YA Number.

There are two options for individual registration in New South Wales:
1. Are you a member of a club in NSW?
If you hold a current membership with a club in New South Wales, contact your club and ask them to update your membership in the myClub database.
2. If you are NOT a member of a club...

Can I check my information online?
You can check and update your own information via your online MySailor profile. In order to access MySailor you will need to have a valid email address registered in your profile. Please ensure that your club has your correct email address registered so you can access your MySailor profile.
