Mens & Mixed Competitions Start Date and Earlybird extended!

It is not too late to join the Shire Touch Football Mens & Mixed Summer League Touch and Touch Football competitions! We have delayed the start date to the week commencing Monday 10th October (the same week as the start of the Junior Competition) and extended the earlybird registration to Friday 23rd September! New Finals Structure

All divisions will now be playing a 3 week finals series giving teams sitting in 1st and 2nd after the round games a second chance to make the Grand Final!more

League Touch Season Extended!

We can now confirm the new dates for the 2016 Girls League Touch season. The Grand Final date will now be on Thursday 1st September. We have also scheduled an extra round of games and a wet weather round.more

Taren Point Year 7/8 All School Nominations OPEN

NSW Touch will be conducting a Regional qualifying event for the Year 7/8 All Schools on August 16th at Gwawley Park, Taren Point.

The event is for students in either Year 7 or 8 playing in either a girls or boys division. Teams can be made of students from both year groups.more

NRL Round 16 Sharks vs Warriors Half Time Display

There was certainly a buzz around Southern Cross Group Stadium on Saturday night even with temperatures dropping below 10C! Even more excited were the 15's girls from De La Salle and Taren Point who were doing their best to keep warm in the first half in the lead up to their exhibition game at half time.more

250 Registrations

For the first ever season of League Touch we are pretty stoked with the registration numbers... 250 players registered and playing! It's great to see so many new friendships blossoming on and off the field creating a fun atmosphere as some good rivalries in the making!more

League Touch and Rugby League playing together

Round 2 of the League Touch season was hosted by the Como-Jannali Crocodiles at Scylla Bay Oval. It was a beautiful sunny day with the river on one side and the Como Hotel on the other side. All ten games were played at the venue with the Under 14's JRL game between Como and De La Salle on the main field in the middle of the day.more

League Touch Season Launch a Success!

The first ever games of League Touch were played on Sunday 15th May at the home ground of Cronulla Caringbah JRLFC. Divisions included Girls 9's, Girls 11's, Girls 15's and Ladies Opens. Plenty of tries were scored and some of them converted!more

Girls Touch League Details

League-Touch is an exciting new version of our game combining both Touch Football and Rugby League Rules (no tackle). Games are Sunday mornings from May 15 to August 19 with the Grand Final being held at Shark Park on a Friday night!more

Monday Sutherland Venue Cancelled

Unfortunately due to both some council re-allocations and small registration numbers, we have had to cancel the Sutherland venue on Mondays. We apologise for this inconvenience. We are still accepting registrations for both Taren Point on Wednesdays and Engadine on Fridays.more

Pre-Season competitions wraps up

The fourth and final round of games were played at Gwawley Park on Wednesday 25th March. The divisions included Girls u10, Boys u10, Girls u12, Boys u12 and Girls u14. After the conclusion of games, we had a visit from Nu Brown from the Cronulla Sharks. The kids asked some great questions before lining up for autographs and photos!more

The final rounds games of the Shire Touch League will be played on Wednesday 25th March. All games will be played at 4:30pm. At 5:30pm Nu Brown from the Cronulla Sharks will be attending to host a Q&A interactive session with all players. With plenty of giveaways make sure you get there!more
