Locals cheer on Winners at Pacific Games

The Pacific Games Badminton competition finished last week with most of the gold medals going to the host country New Caledonia except the women’s singles which was won by young talented Fijian Andra Whiteside. The host country and crowd have to be commended on their organization and support for the Badminton during the week. The crowds were many and noisy. Drums, Vuvuzela’s , bangers , whistles all added such a great atmosphere to the event one could be mistaken for thinking you were in Asia somewhere.

As the Pacific Games comes to an end for another four years Badminton now has to work hard to get on the 2015 programme as currently it is not.
