Volunteer Training

Volunteer training includes -

1. Support boat training and man overboard retrieval techniques for those volunteers with an RST (Recreational   Skippers Ticket).

2. Rigging the yachts, hoisting boats with the crane, rigging the dinghies, hoisting people from wheelchairs into   yachts, correct pontoon and radio operations.

3. First aid qualifications - volunteers are encourage to keep their first aid qualifications up to date.

Wednesday 13th December - CONFIRMED - last Wednesday sail. Sailability volunteers please stay behind after sailing for lunch in the wardroom.

Thursday 14th December - TBA - last Thursday sail. Sailability volunteers please stay behind after sailing for lunch in the wardroom. All Sailability Nev Thomas skippers are also invited to attend.

Sunday 17th December 2017 - TBA. Last sail before Christmas recess. Please bring a small plate of food to share and stay back after the morning sailing for a light lunch with your fellow volunteers, participants and supporters.

Sunday program resumes 21st January 2018, midweek programs resume Wednesday 31st January 2018

Season closing day Sunday 22nd April 2018.
