The Tara Costigan Foundation will be the Charity Partner for the NAB Challenge match between the GWS Giants and Western Bulldogs at StarTrack Oval on Thursday, 25 February 2016.

ACT / Southern NSW Manager Steve Mahar spoke of the partnership “we are very excited to partner with the Tara Costigan Foundation (TCF) and hoped that AFL spectators dig deep for a very worthy cause. The Tara Costigan Foundation has close links to the AFL Community with cousin Nathan Costigan, the Tuggeranong Hawks Coach and we hope to help the foundation raise awareness, education and lobbying for positive changes to domestic violence in Australia.”

A TCF representative stated, “Tara Costigan Foundation is honoured to be working in partnership with the AFL to raise awareness and much needed funds to help end family violence in our nation. Working together with such a prominent Australian sporting body is a perfect example of the 'Together We Are Strong' philosophy in practical action.”

The Tara Costigan Foundation will be taking donations at the gates as well as selling merchandise. To make a donation or for further information on the Tara Costigan Foundation, please visit http://www.taracostiganfoundation.com/
