Magic Recognised Within Community

Blacktown Magic have continued on from their 2013 Premiership success by cleaning up the awards at the 31st Blacktown City Sports Awards last Friday night.

With over 300 people in attendance along with guest speaker, former Australian swimming champion and Olympic Silver Medallist Geoff Huegill, the Magic picked up awards in three different categories.

Daniel Clifford was awarded Volunteer of the Year, the Magic’s premiership winning Division Three side was named Team of the Year and played a big part in the Magic being named Club of the Year as well.

President John Clifford said he was very pleased with the night which was an outstanding result for the club.

All in all, a great piece of recognition which capped off an outstanding year for the Magic.
