Receive up to $100,000 to update your facilities

The Victorian Government administer the CFNP through Sport and Recreation Victoria, with additional funding and support from partners AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria.

The CFNP aims to assist country clubs and those on the metropolitan fringe struggling with outdated, overused or weather-damaged facilities.

Grants of up to $100,000 are available for projects that improve facilities, including new or redeveloped change rooms, installation of improved turf species, drainage and irrigation, new or upgraded netball courts or installation of sports lighting for courts or ovals.

Interested Clubs are urged to contact their Council immediately to explore this opportunity, given applications from Councils to the CFNP (on behalf of clubs) close on Thursday 11th February, 2016.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
