SYDNEY ROOSTERS JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE COME & TRY DAY

For children who are new to Rugby League or would like to learn more about playing in our exciting competition, come along to the Come and Try Open Day on Saturday 23rd February at Waverley Oval to have fun and meet new friends.

During the session participants will learn basic skills about rugby league and how to land and tackle safely in a non-competitive, fun-based playing scenario.

The aim of the session is to ignite the passion of young players and is all about having fun.

Come and Try will be an event jam packed with Rooters benefits featuring rugby league skills and activities, Roosters merchandise and an appearance by Rocky the Rooster.

We look forward to meeting new and friendly faces to kick off our 2019 season!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SYDNEY ROOSTERS GIRLS LEAGUETAG REP TEAM

A great day was had by all at the NSWRL Girls Blues Tag District Gala Day in December at Norford Park in Sefton. 

The Roosters girls and their great team of staff (all ladies as well) put on a great display of sportsmanship and competitive spirit over the day. 

We look forward to building on the success of the gala day with participation in NSWRL Blues Tag comps in 2019!

NSW GOVERNMENT - ACTIVE KIDS PROGRAM ($100 REBATE)

The NSW Government has introudced the Active Kids Program which entitles each school age child (between the age of 5-18years old) to a $100 'voucher' to go towards the cost of sports registration.

MINI LEAGUE (UNDER 6 to UNDER 8)

Competition Commencement Date – 7 April 2019

Join A Different League – Mini League

An exciting league in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs It’s family-friendly, same time, same venue, with games played during the school terms ONLY

Designed to create a positive and rewarding experience for all participants, the Mini League has new updated rules ensuring a fun, free-flowing game, where players are rewarded for effort.

Mini League 2019

Where: Waverley Oval

When: Every Sunday Morning

Length: 13 week competition (April to August), no games during school holidays or public holiday weekends

 



MOD LEAGUE (UNDER 9 to UNDER 12)

Competition commencement date - 7 April 2019.

Mod League will be played with the Balmain District Junior Rugby League. The season will be played on Sundays (home and away fixtures), with a three week final series and finals at Leichhardt Oval.

JNR INTERNATIONAL - CONFERENCE COMPETITIONS

Competition Commencement Date – 7 April 2019

13’s and above will participate in the NSWRL Conference Competitions.

Structure of competitions will be confirmed by NSWRL after team nominations have been receieved.
