NSFA Skellern Cup
The inaugural NSFA Skellern Cup will take place across two days of Term 3, providing all primary school aged girls in Year 3 – 6 the chance to take part in our association-wide football gala day.
Each day will bring together schools and girls from throughout the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, inviting over 40 schools, stretching from North Sydney to Brooklyn. Each school can nominate as many teams as they like, with a recommended squad size of 13 players plus a coach/teacher. Games will be played on small-sided fields of 9 vs 9 with no competition points or ladder kept.
The day intends to celebrate girls playing football, bringing together regular players and non-players to showcase the inclusiveness, enjoyment and camaraderie football as a sport provides.
Juniors will play on Wednesday 6th September (Wet weather day – 13th September)
Seniors will play on Thursday 7th September (Wet weather day – 14th September)
Schools are required to register as soon as possible to secure their spot in the football gala day. Spots are strictly limited across both days.
