1st IRC ~ Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race
2nd IRC ~ Production Div, Docklands Invitational 2010

Other Achievements:
“Two True” has been on the poduim in all completed Regattas and series since being launched. 
Andrew was recognized by the Boating Industry Association of SA (BIASA) for his achievements by being awarded the Boatman of the Year Award. 
Andrew was also awarded the Cruising Yacht Club’s 2009/10 Yacht of the Year.

 2009/10 Achievements:
9th  ~  ISAF Youth Worlds Brazil  -  International 4720 Girls 
5th - 2nd Aus  ~  ISAF Wolrd Cup, Sail Melbourne  –  Olympic 470 Women
3rd - 2nd Aus  ~  Olympic 470 Womens Nationals

Other Achievements:
Lauren was selected in the SASI squad. 
• Lauren was also selected in the ASDS - Australian Sailing Development Squad in the 470
• Lauren also coached the 420's at Adelaide SC Saturday morning training

 Nominated by : Adelaide Sailing Club  

·         Bob was on the organizing committee for the Special Olympics in held at ASC in April.
·         Bob was also Race Officer for the Special Olympics
·         He was coach for youth catamaran sailors at ASC on Saturday mornings
·         He also trained SA & NSW youth multi hull teams for the Aus Youth Nationals held at Largs Bay SC in January
·         Bob also volunteers for ASC Sailability each month
·         He was also Race Officer for the Sailability State Championships at Pt Adelaide SC
·         He was Measurer for the Access Dinghy World Championships in the UK in June
·         Bob also coached Wayne Crabb at the World Access Dinghy Championships         
·         Bob won the Victorian Hobie Tiger 2009/10 championships
·         He competes a regularly as ASC in the DIV 1 catamarans
·         Bob competed in the World Masters Games in a Hobie 16 in October 2009
·         Bob also competed in the Hobie 16 Worlds in China in August 2010
Bob is a keen sailor, sponsor & support of catamaran sailing & sailors.
He is also is a major support of Sailability in both dinghies & keelboats at Club, State & National levels.
Bob has also been on many Committees and served as a Flag Officer in his many years of involvement with both the Adelaide Sailing Club and the Holdfast Bay Yacht Club.
During this time Bob has also been a member of the Hobie Class Association & Hobie rep at YSA for over 20 years.
His dedication and commitment to the sport of sailing is an inspiration to others.

 Presidents Award ~  2009 / 10  Season

for Service to Yachting in South Australia 


Ron Yeats was present with his award at

the CYCSA - Premiers Cup Day

Winner:  Ron Yeates

As a committee member of the CYCSA, Ron Yeates commenced volunteering as the coxwain of the Club's Race Committee vessel at the ripe young age of 56.

For the past 25 years Ron has been involved in nearly every Saturday & Sunday race held over the Club's summer & winter season program and also the weekly Wednesday & Friday twilight races..  Ron has also been involved in all State & National Tiles held at the Club during this period and also lent a hand at other Clubs' events.

Bewteen race days Ron can regularly be found at the Club assisting with the maintenance of committee vessels or visiting our Race Management or Administration staff to see if he can be of assistance or just for a friendly chat.

Ron will be 82 years old in October 2010, which is an achievement in itself, but to be able remain an active stalwart of the Club and contribute in the manner in which he does is outstanding

John has been a long standing volunteer and administrator for Sailability is South Australia.  He represents Yachting SA on the Yachting Australia Sailability Committee.
