Plenty of rigging area next to the club. HHSC will have their kiosk open for us as usual so come on down early to meet up with the other crews and see what they have been up to over the winter.

F11 ASSOC TRAINING CAMP (Inc. YNSW CDP) OCT 8-10th Lane Cove 12ftSSC
Here's your chance to be more confident out on the water - suited to all levels of skill - SOCIALLY the best days you will have in the school holidays this year!
Enter the Oct holiday F11 Assoc Training Camp in conjunction with the mighty Cribb's YNSW CDP (Class Development Program) which is replacing the previous Pittwater/Basin Camps of old - now this year being hosted by Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Club.
These camps are a fantastic way to get your boat handing sorted for the season ahead - a really great social extravaganza and basically a "NOT_TO_BE_MISSED" opportunity.
It will give you confidence for all levels of your sailing, and you'll make heaps of friends without trying haha.
You always look your best in a Flying 11 :)
Held annually the NSW Youth Championship will be held at Georges River 16ft Skiff Sailing Club over the October long weekend, Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th October 2010.
The NSW Youth Championship has taken a different approach in 2010 incorporating class base racing, a move away from the traditional Yardstick event. Yachting NSW see's this move to attract more competitor numbers and a more fun event for all. For the few classes that cannot make the minimum number requirement for class base racing there will also be a yardstick component.
An additional Race Course Area is another major change to this year's NSW Youth Championship. The event will see two separate racing areas so the fleets will have less chance of getting in each other’s way.
Georges River 16ft Skiff Sailing Club is hosting the next Australian Youth Championship in January 2011. Yachting NSW see's the NSW Youth Championship as a great warm up regatta for competitors to familiarize themselves with the bay and the river before the Australian Youth Championship in January 2011.
The Notice of Race is now available online on the Yachting NSW website www.nsw.yachting.org.au or the direct link www.nsw.yachting.org.au/YouthChamps. Entries are now open and competitors are encouraged to get their entries in asap. The early entry cutoff date is Wednesday 22nd September 2010, after this date a late entry fee will apply.
All entries, together with the entry fee must, by the closing date for entries, sign a Code of Conduct and Parental Consent form (where relevant) when filling in the official entry form.
Come join us at Georges River 16ft Skiff Sailing Club for a fun, enjoyable and competitive weekend.
