It is approx 30 min drive. There is also a small ferry which runs periodically from York Cove marina, to Beauty Point marina- right at the yacht club. Depending on demand, it may be possible to arrange special sailings of this ferry (capacity 19 passengers).

1)   We are still negotiating with the University of Tas to access accommodation facilities in one of their residential colleges at Beauty Point. At this stage we are not able to confirm this, but if this approach is successful, we will advise as soon as we have confirmation. This college is 5 mins walk from the yacht club.

2)   The driving times are conservative. Note that there is no city traffic -the drive between Launceston and Beauty Point is an easy scenic drive.

3)   There will also be ample camping available in the Beauty Point area, should anyone wish to camp, including limited unpowered sites within the yacht club grounds.
