Dinghy Sailing

Small Boats Sailing Squadron

Sail training is provided throughout the season in addition to our September Sailing Training Program.
The Club has a number of Optimist and Sabot class dinghies which can be leased for the season allowing children to try sailing without a high initial expense.
Our fleet of 12 Pacer dinghies are used for training and learn to sail for older students and adult beginners. They are also used for training and sailing for small groups, inter-club and intrastate regattas.
Safety is very important to us and the Club has a fleet of rescue and race management vessels to accompany sailors on the water.
If you are interested in participating in dinghy sailing, learning to sail, or assisting with running training or racing, please contact the club.
