Getting Involved

The Club is always in need of volunteers. What can you offer? What do we need?
In the sailing season we need rescue and committee boat skipers and crew, as well as assistance in the canteen, bar and at our major events i.e. Neil Buckby Subaru Tamar Valley Multi Sport Classic, Sargissons & Natuzzi Launceston 2 Hobart start and Melbourne 2 Launceston finish.
The social committee are always looking for fresh faces bringing new ideas.
Someone is needed to help with articles for our newsletters and website. We would love to know what you are doing - whether it is cruising the Tamar or the Caribbean or racing at any location between Beauty Point and Britain.
We are also interested in land-based activities - we have heard rumours of skiing rendezvous and car rallys. You do not have to write much and good photos are always appreciated. Copy and images can be emailed or put onto disk and left with the office. Video too! if you have a shot any "on water" video that might be suitable for the website please get in touch. We can help with editing if needed.
We look forward to hearing from you.
