How to apply
2017/18 will be our first year that club membership is available online. It is highly recommended to read the below information to assist making it a smooth process.

All members will be able to update their own profile during the year in mySailor online at www.sailing.org.au
Additional information to help complete your application
- MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Sailing member = ordinary membership
Non-sailing = social membership (no voting rights)
Other member = Sailability participant & volunteer, Absentee, Honorary or Life member
- NEW MEMBERS
If applying to become a new member, please complete the above online membership application. You will require the names of two club members to include with your application. Once payment is processed, you will be covered by Australian Sailing insurance as a member. A further welcoming email will be provided once the General Committee approve your application.
- RENEWING MEMBERS
To renew membership, complete the online application due by 31 August, 2017.
While this is new, please check carefully all your existing records are correct. There may be a couple of updates eg birth dates, so please edit as required. Any registering issues, please contact the Secretary by email on email@example.com
Family or couple
If you are registering multiple people as part of a Family or Couple, you first need to choose how many people you are registering. Then register each person by selecting their name and assign the appropriate membership category.
The system will automatically list only members with the same email address or if you click on NEW MEMBER you will create a new member profile and a new Australian Sailing number will be generated for the new member. If you have a member who has a different email address, click on the NEW MEMBER option to add another member. The email address can be changed in My Sailor after your application is successful. This is optional but is required if a member prefers to receive individual correspondence eg Mainsheet.
Successful registering memberships will receive an automatic confirmation email.
- REQUEST A MEMBERSHIP FORM
While the preferred option is to register online, we understand some members require extra help. You can either ask the Secretary to complete with you at the club or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting a membership form if you are not able to complete online, noting that you are only a member once payment is processed.
