No Community Sailing Nov 13th

by DYC

Due to a lack of available volunteers, the next Community Sailing Day - scheduled for Sunday Nov 13th - has been cancelled.

With many regular members unavailable that day, there were not enough volunteers free to run our scheduled Community Sailing on that day.

Docklands Yacht Club is always looking for more people to help out on our Community Sailing Days and join and become involved in the Club. No previous sailing experience is required. If you are interested in becoming involved, contact the Club at

Our next sailing day will be Sunday 20th November with the next round of Short Course Racing.

The next Community Sailing Day is Sunday November 27th.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.

Our new location

Sailing for Everyone!

Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct.  From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square.  Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
