Sailing Instructions released for Australia Day Regatta

The Sailing Instuctions for the Docklands Yacht Club Australia Day Regatta are now available.

The regatta, to be held from Jan 23rd to 25th, is the first sailing regatta in the new Community Boating Hub and we look foward to welcoming sailors from Latrobe Valley Yacht Club. Current entrants include experienced sailors and those making their debut to racing. Classes being sailed are the Hansa 2.3, 303 and Liberty

The Schedule for the regatta is:

Saturday 23rd January

1000 - 1100 Registration (in downstairs office)

1100 - 1700 Coaching Clinic (Multi-Purpose room upstairs and on-water)

Sunday 24th January

1000 - 1030 Registration

1100 onwards Racing

Monday 25th January

1000 - 1030 Registration

1100 onwards Racing

1600 (approx.) Presentation

Sailing for Everyone!

Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct.  From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square.  Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
