DYC still closed whilst relocation continues

by DYC

Please be advised that Docklands Yacht Club is currently CLOSED for sailing.

Works to remove the pontoon from outside of Shed 2 and reconfigure and replace it outside the new Community Boating Hub are completed. We are still awaiting the building fitout and re-location of our large crane and fitting of the C-Crane bases.

We do not have an exact date of when we will be in the new building - but expect to be in around mid-late December.

We will keep you posted on the progress of the move and our opening day in the new building.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.

Our new location

Sailing for Everyone!

Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct.  From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square.  Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
