DYC Sailors at Victorian Championships

Docklands Members have excelled at last weekend's Victorian Hansa Class Championships at Royal Brighton Yacht Club.

5 sailors contested the Championships in the 2.3, 303 singles and Liberty divisions.

Louis Patterson took out the 2.3 division, Christine Elliott took out the 303 singles from fellow DYC member Beck West and Russell Phillips took out the Liberty division, with another DYC member, Cadeyrn Gaskin, taking out third place.

Christine was also awarded the First Female Overall - winning 6 of her 8 races.

Docklands Yacht Club was today the scene for packing of boats for the Australian Hansa Class Championships, being held in Hobart over Easter.

Christine, Beck, Russell and Cadeyrn will all be representing the Club, and we wish them all the best.
