Gaskin and Elliott Lead Short Course Series

The DYC Short Course Series continued on Sunday, February 15 on a warm sunny day with a light southerly breeze.

Christine Elliott reinforced her place at the top of the Hansa 303 scoresheet with 4 wins from the 6 races sailed.  Other race winners were Beck West and Louis Patterson who are placed 2nd and 3rd overall after 29 races.

The Liberty fleet has now completed 24 races.  Cadeyrn Gaskin and Russell Phillips took turns at leading the fleet home today, so Gaskin maintains his 9 point lead in the series.

Sailing for Everyone!

Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct.  From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square.  Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
