November Short Course Racing

Day two of the Docklands Short Course Series was sailed in a southerly mostly around 10 knots.

Russell Phillips recorded five wins from six starts to increase his overall lead in the Liberty class competition.

In the Hansa 303s, Christine Elliott, Louis Patterson and Beck West each won two races, leaving Christine at the top of the table.

The next scheduled race day is December 21 with an earlier start time of 11am for the first race.  Combined division results from this race day will be calculated on Yachting Victoria Yardstick.

Sailing for Everyone!

Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct.  From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square.  Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
