Weather conditions were perfect for novice sailors with light winds and a mild sunny day for the Try Sailing day held on Sunday 14th August on Victoria Harbour.

Father and daughter combination Becky and Mark from Rotary took a brief break from the registration desk and rescue boat to Try Sailing.

In a relaxed environment parents were able to have quality time with their child in the small sail boats.

1st Ivanhoe Sea Scouts also joined in with the day and brought their boats down to Docklands to have a sail.

Docklands Rotary and Yacht Club members worked together and had an enjoyable and successful day.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
