Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct. From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square. Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.

Special Olympics Sailing Day at Docklands on September 15
Anyone with an intellectual disability is invited to come and try sailing at Docklands Yacht Club.
We encourage everyone to come and have a go - family and friends are welcome too.

BYO Lunch. There is a BBQ available. Bring a waterproof jacket and some warm clothes.
Sailing will be in Hansa boats. The Hansa boats are fun and safe. These easy to sail, small boats are ideal for people who haven’t sailed before. Most Special Olympic sailors will be accompanied by an experienced partner, but should you like the challenge there are two-person and solo divisions.
