The Docklands Short Course Racing Series got underway in September and five race days have been completed this season.

Scheduled over 8 Sundays from September through April, the Short Course Series is open to Access 2.3, Access 303 and other classes.

It is a great fun way to get a start in racing and provides plenty of practice with starts, mark roundings, helps develop technique and rules knowledge while enjoying some friendly competition with friends.  Club boats are available for members use on a first come-first served basis.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.

Our new location

Sailing for Everyone!

Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct.  From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square.  Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
