Docklands Yacht Club overlooks Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the Melbourne City skyline and the ever changing Docklands precinct. From January 2016, sailing will take place from the 60 metre pontoon at our new premises - the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street, adacent to the Library at Dock Square. Community Sailing days are normally the second and fourth Sunday of each month year round from 11am but are subject to change (check Calendar page for more details). Everyone is welcome. We supply the boats, lifejackets and instruction.
Short Course Series starts in October

Docklands Yacht Club’s annual Short Course series starts again on October 6th. This series of races is an excellent introduction for any sailor who wishes to get started in racing, and a great opportunity for all sailors to practice race starts and buoy roundings. Informal training and coaching may be available in the mornings before racing.
The series consists of one day of racing each month, where as many as 8 short races can be run. The series entry fee is $30 or $10 casual entry per race day. DYC members have priority access to a supplied boat. Non-members can use DYC boats for an additional cost of $10 per day. Get your bookings in early to secure a boat.
