FFAS' staff member suvives tsunami

Paepae Soia Su (50) barely escaped with his life on Sept. 29, 2009 from the tsunami that destroyed most of the bay area houses and business establishments in Pago Pago.
Fortunately, he came away with only scrapes and bruises on his arms and legs after being caught by the wave while attempting to flee to safety. The dead from the tsunami on that day is 32.more

189 associations benefit from Goal 31 new projects approved

A total of 189 associations are currently benefiting from FIFA's Goal development programme. At a meeting of the Goal Bureau in Zurich on 21 March under the chairmanship of FIFA Executive Committee member Mohamed bin Hammam (Qatar), it was announced that so far, 312 projects have already been completed or approved or are in the pipeline.more

Let there be water!!!

Soia Su the ASFA Goal Project Maintenance Officer shows his delight as the irrigation is switched on at Pago Park today. The testing of the system was successful which was followed by a seeding and fertisation of the field.

It is expected that grass shots will appear within 10 to 15 days.
