REMINDER THIS SATURDAY: 21 February Latitude Race & Evening Sail

  • Refer to attached Latitude Race Sailing Instructions for details about this event. It is more of a cruise than a race and tests your navigation and tactical skills. Already a number of boats have registered and the type of event that it is suits all types of boats, slow and fast boats should all end up finishing around the same time.If you have registered check that you have been added to the attached fleet list.
  • If you haven’t and are not on the list, your Lattitude Calculation will be sorted at the Briefing Session prior to the race.
  • Sailing Instructions and a navigation chart extract will be available at the Briefing.

  • If you cannot make it along for the Saturday afternoon Latitude Race/Cruise, perhaps you can make it along later for an evening sail from St Kilda to Williamstown for happy hour on the dock followed by dinner somewhere local. As published in the calendar, departure from St Kilda Marina at 1700hrs.
  • Cruise plans are flexible and subject to weather.  Possible overnight berthing either at Williamstown or potentially St Kilda Harbour – public floating pontoons adjoining the St Kilda Pier.

  • For further information about either event, contact Ron Parker, tainui744@bigpond.com or 0419 002 946
